Results from a two-year field trial in Italy (2023–2024)
In our two-year field trial in Cuneo (2023–2024), POLY4 fully replaced a common NPK in Nebbiolo grapevines. Yield and grape quality stayed the same. This reduced the cost of fertilisation by removing the need for expensive NPK.
Results are arithmetic means of 2 harvests. NPK and POLY4 were applied at the same rates (in year 1 – 500 kg/ha, year 2 – 600 kg/ha).
Results from the 2024 harvest also showed that POLY4 increased calcium content in the grapes, helping them to become more resilient against common pathogens such as Peronospora and Botrytis.
