Tomato with POLY4: Boosting yield and marketability

Results of 10 field trials in Italy (2022)

POLY4 gives tomatoes the plant-available calcium they need to build strong cell walls and membranes. That means bigger, better-looking, and tastier tomatoes.

Adequate calcium levels also prevent blossom end rot (BER), a common disorder in tomatoes characterized by brown, leathery spots at the blossom end of the fruit. BER ruins tomatoes when they don’t get enough calcium as they grow.

More marketable fruit, less waste - what’s not to like?

In 2022, we put POLY4 to the test with 10 tomato trials across Italy. We compared the usual NPKS fertilisation plans to a boosted plan with POLY4.

The result?

Every single trial delivered more yield. Even better, POLY4 reduced waste by decreasing losses from BER, uneven ripening, and other common issues.

Results are medians of 10 field trials conducted in different regions of Italy in 2022. All treatments in the same trial received equal amounts of N, P and K.
